About The Olde World

The year is 2499. Fresh after the Battle of Nuln, the Emperor’s witch-hunters and inquisitors are out in force looking for common folk and nobles colluding with the ruinous powers

Here in the Olde World we explore life as both heroes and villains. In this grim dark world, heroes that stand idle in the face of the ruinous powers will succumb to their machinations while those that brave the challenges presented to them may stand a chance of survival. The only way to survive as a hero is to work together with the members of your regiment. From the most pious witch hunter to a proud brew master everyone has a job to do. Your cooperation is integral to your success.

While the heroes shudder at the winds of magic, the villains revel in it. You have no need to beg for scraps of meat from a lone peddler on the road. That is your road, and that peddler is your dinner. Chaos is around every corner. Feral beastmen own the forests. Vampires and their undead legions rule the night. Even the most well respected noble may have fallen in with cultists. As a villain, you thrive in the destruction of all those that oppose you.

I write this also with the grim realization that surviving to see these works in print is a foolhardy optimism. The realist in me hopes instead, that when we do fall that at least someone may find this journal and at least know of the struggles we endured.
